I can't believe I pulled this one off! I've absolutely been in love with Tim Schafer's Brutal Legend ever since it came out and knew right away I wanted to make some epic costumes to spread the love. There are not enough Brutal Legend cosplays!
I've never worn so much body paint and was super nervous about it. But with extensive research and a few trial runs, I made it work to best of my ability.
I convinced my darling boyfriend to wear this Doviculus costume and he was a champ about it even though he could barely breath. He creeped a ton of people out though so he was satisfied.
Plus we got to meet with Tim himself at PAXeast 2014! We were all freaking out like a buncha nerds but he really loved our work! It was so awesome.
A lot of love and work went into these and I hope we get to wear them again!
In short, I'm able to check one more dream costume off the list.

A little advice, so you don't have to wear so much body paint, consider a lightweight cotton bodysuit in the color you wish to portray. It's easier to take care of and you can airbrush it to appear however you like without having to worry about it wearing off!
